    Good for you homie. Going to school shows commitment, dedication and that you are not afraid to invest in yourself. Hopefully you are seeking a degree level certificate so you can teach college level as a supplement. With any career regardless if it’s a lawyer, doctor, barber or chief, they all develop their craft by practice and experience. Continue watching Jay, the Barber.   6. Dude I am a barber in training and just found your videos. I just recently told friends and my boss that I was in barber college and they all but laughed at me like I was a fool. All of you videos give me hope keep up the good work.

  15. nice cut u did work i have a question im starting to cut hair and im just having a lil bit of trouble i use a 3 open on top and a 2 open on the sides i use no guard on the clippers open from the top of the sideburn to the top the ear how do i get the line out without cutting into the hair or raising the taper?

  21. good advise..i kno its a couple of barbershops businesses that give pay checks somthing like a franchise like the owner of the barbershop takes half of each haircut, for example if a haircut is 14 the owner takes 7 but the owner offers benefits thru the pay check..so basically the barber is only making 7 including tip money.. is it better that way or is it better just to pay rent for a chair.. in pay for your own benefits..? just wondering

    damm… homie you rite!!! bein a barber get you more freedom over everything but it comes responsability tho… thats how i see it… keep on doin what you do… i just dont agree with what you said not to pay attention to any one… i say pay attention to everyone but dont believe shit until you prove it by doin your own research and make decisions from there

  24. Thats the way people are brainwashed to believe certain things that arnt true. Thats why people need to educate themselves. Knowledge is power. They dont want people from our hoods to know that they can do things on their own, they want you to feel like you need them.
