USC Dentistry: International Periodontics & Implant Symposium 2010 (M. Tonetti)

The lecture “Acceleration of Therapy: Periodontal Regeneration in the Age of Speed,” by Dr. Maurizo Tonetti, was part of the 35th annual USC Periodontal and Implant Symposium (theme: “The Age of Speed”) held in Los Angeles in 2010. Dr. Tonetti is executive director of the European Research Group on Periodontology in Genova, Italy. He is also editor-in-chief of the “Journal of Clinical Periodontology.” He has served as professor and chair of the Division of Periodontology and as head of the Department of Oral Health and Diagnostic Sciences at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and also as professor and head of the Department of Periodontology, Eastman Dental Institute and Hospital, University College London.
